Probably 95% of comments here are spam, and for the past couple of years I’ve kept them corralled until they could be rejected. The other day things got weird, and it proved to be either a DoS (denial of service) or an unusually aggressive spam attack.
The webmaster disabled comments, because we can’t have nice things any longer when it’s all written in effing Cyrillic.
I suppose we’ll continue to have the discussions at my social media lounges, and it’s not such a big deal. But I wanted readers to know why the comments have been turned off.
